For the first time in American history, U.S. landmarks in all 50 states (and the District of Columbia) will “Light it Blue” to kick-off Prostate Cancer Awareness Month on September 3. Prostate Cancer Foundation’s (PCF) “Light It Blue” campaign is a national effort to raise disease awareness and support for men affected by prostate cancer. On one specific day, “Light It Blue” will serve as a visual reminder that prostate cancer continues to affect one in nine men and will encourage all Americans to take notice and take action.

Waterfront Park is happy to participate and represent the State of Kentucky in Prostate Cancer Awareness Month by lighting the Big Four Bridge blue on Tuesday, September 3.
