WFPK Waterfront Wednesdays is a Waterfront tradition that provides free music and a happy hour atmosphere on the last Wednesday of each month, April through September. Now in its ninth year, Waterfront Wednesdays is billed as "Louisville's most popular after work concert series."

 

The Waterfront Development Corporation and Louisville Public Media work together to offer these free concerts on the Harbor Lawn that feature national and local artists. 

 

Outside alcohol is prohibited. No coolers, no glass & no pets allowed in the event area of the Harbor Lawn and the adjacent children’s play area. For more information, please call 814-6518.  Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.   Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. 

 

There is a cash bar and great upscale festival food. Menu: Corn Dog Sausage Trailer: corn dogs, Italian sausage, Polish sausage, bratwurst, and hot dogs. The Q: hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled Portobello sandwiches, hand breaded chicken tenders, and fresh cut french fries. Quesadilla Stand: chicken & cheese quesadillas and Greek salad in an edible pita bowl. Drinks include soft drinks, bottled water, and fresh brewed sweet tea, and fresh squeezed lemonaid.

 

Boat docking in the Great Lawn Harbor is on a first come first served basis.
