The Belle of Louisville had a great Great Steamboat Race this year - not only did she win the race, she also hosted actors Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas of the tv show "Once Upon A Time," and Jonathan Kite of "Two Broke Girls." (Above) As part of their tour of the boat, Captain Mark Doty showed them the Pilot House and explained Belle navigation. Actor Dallas was actually born in Louisville and raised in Southern Indiana.

Waterfront Park's maintenance crew and Belle of Louisville employees headed up to Indiana on March 13 & 14 to help with clean up after the tornados that swept the area on March 2. They ended up in Borden, Indiana, helping a woman whose house had been damaged and garage destroyed. The crew, armed with chainsaws, gators, and other heavy equipment, put in two full days clearing and burning, and they did a great job!
