We had a great time at the Fifth Third Waterfront Independence Festival, and over the two days of the festival, so did 100,000 of our closest friends! The concerts were great, the weather (mostly) cooperated, and the fireworks topped it all off.

The Clean Team is a summer job program for high school and college students, who help Waterfront Park's outside crew keep the park clean and welcoming through its busiest season. Maintenance work has been completed on the Water Play Area in the Adventure Playground, and it has now been turned on for the season. The Water Play Area has been closed for resurfacing. Water Play hours are from 11:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. daily, May through October (weather permitting).

Hours of operation for the rest of the park, including the dry playgrounds and Dancing Waters on Witherspoon Street, are 6:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m. daily.
